Hey everyone, Benjamin here. I am officially letting everyone know that Breaking Benjamin has NOT broken up! This is just a false rumor that, through the miracle of modern technology, has unfortunately spread.
I am currently taking some time off from touring to further address some health issues that I have been dealing with for some years now which has been posted previously on the shallow bay website and expressed in many recent interviews. I am performing two solo acoustic shows in July but this in no way means that I have left, or am ever going to leave, Breaking Benjamin.
In closing I’d like to thank our incredible fans for their concern. The only thing that I ask, is for everyone to not believe any rumors you hear on the Internet especially when it does not come directly from the band. We hope that our fans know that we love them and are forever grateful of their continuing support.

I never heard any of the rumors and I’, glad I hadn’t cause I would totally be worried. You guys have been in my life since 2004, and it would break my heart if it were true. So thank you Ben for getting the word out to us fans, Cause I don’t know what I would do if there wasn’t Breaking Benjamin anymore. Love you guys always and forever
Ben- It’s great to hear that you guys are still together but what more important is that you are taking time off to take care of yourself. You and the band will always have a huge following where ever you go. Take care of yourself, get better, and come back to Richmond, VA soon! We miss ya!

Hi there…am a Mauritian and am new to this Forum. I’ve listen to NUMEROUS bands which would make me feel sick as they are not believers. Am honest and I REALLY REALLY REALLY like BB cuz your lyrics coincide with the attitudes of believers. I was surprised when i heard your lyrics of your album Dear Agony and they were fitting exactly my life (I would say “miraculously”). I wanted to know if Benjamin has a religion and which one is it. As far as I’ve searched on the web, I’ve found that Ben is Catholic. Am not sure cuz I dont trust those sites (Am right after all…when Ben says there have been rumours on his band on other sites). Am Muslim (I believe in God, The Holy Qur’an, The Holy Bible, Angels, Gabriel, Prophets, Jesus, Moses, MOST IMPORTANTLY The Prophet Mohammad) and I must say that your lyrics of Album Dear Agony matches my thoughts, perception and imagination.
My visions used to tell me to form a band which would interpret religious matters as am indeed very sad of how this life is going through more and more social ills…and I think I dont need to do it now (BB is here) Hehehe. Breaking Benjamin, keep it up. I love your lyrics and your music. In my life, you’re the #1, and I also listen to Linkin Park(1st band which made me listen to rock music when i didnt know BB existed), Three Days Grace and Flyleaf. I’ve become a full fledged fan of your band now. 
Your band will be my favourite as far as there is no foul language too. Thanks for your kind considerations and keep healing this life.

I’m just saying’, I’ve had 3 (minus polyamorous cuz I didn’t want to steal ALL.of them from my bf) of the albums in my car player (6 disc) for the past 16 months straight and I still can’t seem to get enough! But w/that, I do wish you well and hopefully there’ll be another concert down the road when you are better!! Take care and know that y’all are genius!

I’m really glad. I seriously about passed out when I heard this. I’ve loved you guys since around 2000-2001 and I’ll never quit. I love your music and what you do, it helped me through my teen years and still helps me now. <3

holy….damn dude im sorry for the health issues, its great to hear that my favorite band isn’t breaking up. Main reason I love you guys is because of the music, it would be great if you could let us in on …not a specific date, more like a time period for the next album, thanks. and if youve already said something bout it im an idiot and havent noticed. Thanks for the update, love the music and what matters the most is your health. If you have to take a break take it, you bust your ass for the fans as it is you certainly deserve it. I haven’t been lucky enough to see you live so hopefully I’ll still get that chance someday.

My Dad was killed the day of one of the Breaking Benjamin concerts so I have never been able to go to any of their concerts. He was killed on the way home to pick me up for the concert. After the funneral I started listening to ANTHEM OF THE ANGELS every day. Breaking Benjamin keeps me going so… feel better Benjamin (Ben). You need to relax a little, rest a little, and take good care of yourself. Oh yah, know your limits.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know you don’t know me, but I feel your pain, sister. Keep on keepin’ on. Dear Agony helped me deal with 3 deaths of very close people to me that happened within 1 week of eachother. I know it’s hard, but “you will go on until the end”

Hmm… so my other post is missing? (did i have a few too many spoilers?) anyway just wanted to let you know that the covers from the Hampton Beach show were so freakin awesome that when i heard one of the songs today, i was actually pissed at Ben for playing it better then the original band….and once again…. Ben please take care of yourself, but as a selfish fan please do it fast so that i can see the band perform. I have only seen the one show and was unfortunately really impressed. thanks
hmmm… so my other comment is missing…. i fucking hope you guys never break up! you’ve inspired me so much, i’d be heartbroken. i am still heartbroken, though, to hear that Ben is still sick. once i heard the new album and how amazing it sounded i thought he was over whatever it was :’( but oh well, as long as he’s taking it easy. i haven’t been able to hear you guys live yet, and i hope when i get the chance he doesn’t have to cancel.

Your (and of course, the rest of that marvelous group you front) music has helped me keep the faith through my illnesses, rehab, and 2 forclosures. I just want you all to know that your music has had a profound effect on me, and I was at that show in St. Louis, at the Galaxy, back 10 years ago and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. I also saw you guys at the Savvis Center, St. Louis, on Dec. 13 2009, and I know Benjamin, that you weren’t feeling well. Props to you for hanging in there to play that show ’cause you know St. Louis LOVES BREAKING BENJAMIN!!!! Much love, God speed on your recovery, and keep up the EPIC music.
