Hey everyone, Benjamin here. I am officially letting everyone know that Breaking Benjamin has NOT broken up! This is just a false rumor that, through the miracle of modern technology, has unfortunately spread.
I am currently taking some time off from touring to further address some health issues that I have been dealing with for some years now which has been posted previously on the shallow bay website and expressed in many recent interviews. I am performing two solo acoustic shows in July but this in no way means that I have left, or am ever going to leave, Breaking Benjamin.
In closing I’d like to thank our incredible fans for their concern. The only thing that I ask, is for everyone to not believe any rumors you hear on the Internet especially when it does not come directly from the band. We hope that our fans know that we love them and are forever grateful of their continuing support.

I just love this band so much! It makes me sane after an stressing week of studies! I’m not an Unknown Soldier because I don’t have money for that. But you all will live forever on my heart!

I challenge you to shut everyone up about status of the band. Book a headlining tour that goes from coast to coast as well as canada. I honestly doubt that anyone worth anything will read this…..but if anyone does. Tell ben to get off of his ass and get this band out on the road. Ohh and one more thing…dear agony…when i listen to it i am in agony. It sucks…….

Just read this today. Nice, the Dear Agony album was all I listened to last winter while playing modern warfare. Hope the next album is just as good or better. Feel better Ben (I want to play you in either Halo or Call of Duty)
Here’s what I’m getting and I may be wrong. Something big is going on and few to little people know. This is my favorite fucking band and there not being “Active” at all. All I know is if this band breaks up I’m going to be fucking devastated. There’s a problem between them and their management/publicist/producers IDK. Something is not right at all
Ben I love you man, but I’m not sure if I believe what you posted considering the responses I’ve received from “some” of your staff. I know that where I’m living there having a HUGE concert and your band was the number one choice by the community but they ended up booking Kesha!! There was a problem with booking you guys and the tone we perceived was you guys are more or less… protesting?

If you’re addressing health issues, why do the solo shows? That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. If you’re too sick to fulfill band obligations, you should be too sick to fulfill the solo ones, as well… Something smells fishy.

I hope this will get to Mr. Burnley himself. Sir, I heard about your illness and I hope you’ll get well soon. I am addicted to the song “Crawl”. I enjoy that song. I’ve been jamming to you all since Polyamorous came out. I go on my youtube account a lot, and see live videos of the AWESOME band performing then talking to fans as you all finish songs and I must say Mr. Burnley, you are hilarious sir. There’s one video on youtube of “Benjamin Burnley bloopers” and, those are hilarious. To Mr. Szeliga, you are AWESOME in the band as well sir.

Rumors of a band split are continuous across facebook and other internet sites right now, and finding the truth is difficult. Unless, one comes to this site. Tell Ben to get off his ass and get this band on the road? REALLY? Do you NOT pay attention or is this yet another example of how selfish people can be these days. No consideration for the suffering of others. Ben has been ill and the lack of support from some of you is appalling. Get past it – the band will tour again when it feels comfortable to do so, and if they never do again so be it. I am envious if that is ALL you have to worry about. I LOVE this band but I’m pretty sure I will live if they never make another album or do another tour. Ben, take care of yourself – peace.
